Lucknow: In the memory of Shraddhey Chandra Bhanu Gupta, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and founder of Bal Sangrahalaya, an art competition on the theme “Swachh Bharat–Swasth Bharat” was organised at Bal Sangrahalaya, Lucknow,. The competition was held from 11:00 am onwards for children in the age groups of 5–8 years, 9–11 years, and 12–14 years.
Around 421 children from 17 schools of Lucknow district participated enthusiastically in the event. The programme was inaugurated by Ratnesh Gupta, Vice President of the Motilal Memorial Society and Secretary of Bal Sangrahalaya, by offering floral tributes and lighting the lamp before the portrait of Chandra Bhanu Gupta.

He highlighted the importance of art competitions in nurturing creativity and skills among children.
The General Secretary Rajesh Singh praised the initiative, while Chief Guest Virendra Kumar Singh (Retired IAS) emphasised its role in holistic child development. Several dignitaries, parents, and staff members were present.
